When it comes to weddings we all know the rhyme “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue“, and just like the rest of us Meghan Markle likes to honour the tradition.
She chose Princess Diana’s striking Aquamarine ring as her something blue and wore the bold piece to her evening reception at the Royal Wedding last year.
The Duchess of Sussex paid tribute to Princess Diana by wearing the ring Harry gifted her from his mother’s collection when she changed her outfit to leave for Frogmore House on her wedding day.
The Aquamarine ring is set in 24 carat yellow gold, featuring a large pale blue stone surrounded by smaller diamonds. The ring is thought to have been commissioned by Diana herself to match a previously existing aquamarine and pearl bracelet.
The estimated value of the ring is thought to be around £70 000.
The Buckley London Meghan Aquamarine Ring is sensational replica of the now famous cocktail ring. An emerald cut Aquamarine coloured stone on a rhodium plated band, presented in a special edition Royal Ring box for £25.
